Knitting Fever

I started to knit when my son was born, three years ago. Since then I've knitted a few things, with varying success. I've bought patterns, or got books from the library, in the past, but have just stumbled on this website - Ravelry. Free to sign up, it has thousands of free patterns. Just enter in what you'd like to knit, what wool you have, what age you're knitting for, and bingo - hundreds of ideas are returned - just like that.

I'm going to try knitting this cardigan for my little girl. I'll post a picture of it when it's done. If I ever get done?

We got married earlier this year and I got my wedding invite design done through nmiphotocreations.

And I'm thinking of sending this to my brother, who lives in San Francisco, for his birthday (shhh! don't tell him) -

I can't resist getting the Home magazine when I'm at the supermarket - http://homenewzealand.blogspot.com/ It's full of great ideas for interior design, and features some amazing houses around New Zealand. My partner and I always entertained the idea of having our little house in the mag..... but I think since it's always in a mess (thanks kids!) it'll always be a dream ;-)

Uh Oh! Lost the Blog Entries

Well... While updating our website to a new Yola Shopping Cart (which we, and our customers, are loving!) we accidentally lost all our blog posts. So... we're now reentering them from an archive but unfortunately the dates all say they are current entries, although they are a year or so old. Sorry for the mistake! We've learnt a valuable lesson and won't be doing it again.

Renting? Use our reusable wall stickers to brighten up any room

We often get asked about our wall stickers as a decorating solution for renters - are they easy to apply and peel off? Yes - they are ideal for rooms where you do not want, or are not able to, paint. Take a look at the below pictures we've been sent from a customer - It looks fantastic! She told me that her son, Archie, loves to look at the Friends of the Amazon Reusable Stickers when he wakes up. It's great to hear how appealing the Djeco wall sticker range are to children.

** The above picture shows a wall sticker set that is currently sold out, however we do have a similar product in the shape of a height chart that you can view here.

If you feel like a change you can peel the stickers off and rearrange them for different effects. I've moved the poem tree around our house 6 or 7 times now and it still sticks as well as it did the first time I applied it. I've stuck it to all different surfaces too - new and old wallpaper, painted surfaces, concrete block and even stucco.
